The Slow Bloodless Coup

Throughout history there have been many revolutions. Most of the time, they are bloody and involve internal fighting, insurgencies, or outright civil war. For the last 80 or so years we have been living in a slow bloodless coup. Slowly, culturally, and systematically we have been experiencing this in the proverbial old “frog in a pot” scenario in which our entire basis of philosophical thought has been captured and slowly thrown in prison. In every institution including much of the Church, the coup has taken place in front of our very eyes.

How has this happened? It happened through generations neglecting their responsibility to teach the next generation the principles of liberty. The Constitution is often portrayed as some sort of difficult document that needs “professors” and “Constitutional experts” to interpret for the average citizen. It is not. It is a very straight forward document that anyone can understand.

Over time the citizenry simply stopped caring about knowing, understanding, and passing on the principles of liberty to future generations and instead relied upon the “experts” to tell us what is and is not “constitutional.” This neglect has had grave consequences starting with F.D.R. who instituted massive federal government control with his so called “New Deal” socialist Trojan horse. This mindset continued as we get to the 1960’s and President Johnson comes up with his misnamed “war on poverty” big government socialist economic enslavement policies. Particularly since Johnson, we have been in a steady decline concerning personal liberty and responsibility. This has slowly turned us into a culture of entitlement as our young people believe they deserve a living for just showing up. Some believe they deserve a living even if they do not show up.

The leftist, big government Marxists have largely won this bloodless coup over time because they systematically convinced large amounts of the population through controlling education, entertainment, and the news media, that socialism is “fair.” They do not call it socialism, they call is “social justice.”

There has been a death of logic, and a death of common sense. Our culture is now motivated not by long term principled thinking but rather by short term gain that leads to long term loss. Our tyrannical [Alleged] President Obama, has made it clear that he wants to, as he put it, “fundamentally change America.” His idea of changing America is quite clear. He desires a nanny state in which the power is in the hands of the government elite rather than in the hands of the individual citizens. He desires to place as many people as he can under the enslavement of government power in order to fundamentally change us from an individual liberty and responsibility society to a collectivist society (otherwise known as Marxist).

People often scoff at those of us who call [Alleged] President Obama a socialist/Marxist however the facts speak clearly. The definition of socialism is:

A theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

This is exactly what [Alleged] President Obama believes in. Does anyone doubt that if given the chance, he would nationalize everything he could?

[Alleged] President Obama is not just a man that is in over his head, he knows exactly what he is doing. He wants America to no longer be a free enterprise, individual liberty, limited government society. He wants Marxist theory to prevail in America and that is what Obama Care is really all about. Once the government can control your healthcare, they can tell you what to do in everything since they can express their “right” to govern your every more because as they put it; “The commerce clause gives us this power.” If the government uses the commerce clause to govern your healthcare, they can then regulate everything you do because everything you do can be related to your possible need for healthcare.

There has been a long train of abuses by the federal government. For many years they have confiscated land, taxed without equal protection under the law, ruled with an iron fist and the power of their agencies. Interfered with private contracts, and used the intimidation of their power against the individual. The presidents have abused their authority. Article I, Section 1 of the United States Constitution is concise in its language:

"All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."

Rather than being a representative Republic where our representatives legislate under the strict limited powers of the Constitution, we have Presidential power like a king who can use so called “executive orders” to pronounce just about any decree any president wishes. Here are some examples:

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

Shocked yet? Here are some more:

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 12148 created the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that is to interface with the Department of Defense for civil defense planning and funding. An "emergency czar" was appointed. FEMA has only spent about 6 percent of its budget on national emergencies, the bulk of their funding has been used for the construction of secret underground facilities to assure continuity of government in case of a major emergency, foreign or domestic.

•    EXECUTIVE ORDER 12656 appointed the National Security Council as the principal body that should consider emergency powers. This allows the government to increase domestic intelligence and surveillance of U.S. citizens and would restrict the freedom of movement within the United States and granted the government the right to isolate large groups of civilians. The National Guard could be federalized to seal all borders and take control of U.S. air space and all ports of entry.

Because of the natural tendencies of people in positions of authority to power grab, our nation has always had those who wanted more power than the Constitution granted them. From President Andrew Jackson who tried to use executive powers to force the law-abiding Cherokee Nation off their ancestral lands, to President Lincoln who used executive orders to suspend trial rights and closed down newspapers. Many presidents have used so called executive orders to usurp the power of the people and dictate what they wanted like a king. “The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” Now we have all three branches of government who simply ignore the Constitution.

Yes a coup has taken place slowly. The usurpation of rights has happened. It is no longer the America that our founders envisioned and left to posterity. The Declaration of Independence says:

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpation's, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security”
We Americans must wake up and throw off this tyranny. If we do not it will be future generations that suffer even more despotism, and they will lament our unwillingness to protect our heritage of liberty that we have the responsibility to pass on to them. Obama must go, the Democrats must go, and the Republican establishment must go! We must forge a new movement that will not settle for the “lesser of two evils” because the lesser of two evils is still evil!

Indeed there has been a slow bloodless coup that has overthrown our Constitution. I fear that only a bloody one will restore the principles of liberty to our beloved country. My fellow patriots; speak out, teach, stand for liberty, and do not allow those in both parties to play you any longer. Stand up and say it “Don’t tread on me!” and “no king but Jesus!”

Obama quietly gives $1.5 BILLION to Muslim Brotherhood-controlled Egyptian government

In October 2010, on the eve of the Islamic revolution that the media fancies as “the Arab Spring,” the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood called for jihad against the United States.

You might think that this all but unnoticed bombshell would be of some importance to policymakers in Washington. It was not. It is not. This week, the Obama administration quietly released $1.5 billion in foreign aid to the new Egyptian government, now dominated by a Brotherhood-led coalition in parliament — soon to be joined by an Ikhwan (i.e., Brotherhood) luminary as president.

It is not easy to find the announcement. With the legacy media having joined the Obama reelection campaign, we must turn for such news to outlets like the Kuwait News Agency. There, we learn that, having dug our nation into a $16 trillion debt hole, [Alleged] President Obama has nevertheless decided to borrow more money from unfriendly powers like China so he can give it to an outfit that views the United States as an enemy to be destroyed.

This pot of gold for Islamic supremacists is the spoils of a Brotherhood charm offensive. Given the organization’s unabashed goals and hostility towards the West, it was U.S. policy, until recently, to avoid formal contacts with the Brotherhood — although agents of the intelligence community and the State Department have long engaged in off-line communications with individual MB members. By contrast, the Obama administration from its first days has embraced the Ikhwan — both the mothership, whose leaders were invited to attend Obama’s 2009 speech in Cairo despite its then-status as a banned organization under Egyptian law, and the Brotherhood’s American satellites, which have been invited to advise administration policymakers despite their notorious record of championing violent jihadists and repressive sharia.·

Obama has overlooked the MB’s intimate ties to Hamas, which self-identifies as the Ikhwan’s Palestinian branch and is formally designated a terrorist organization under American law. Administration officials have absurdly portrayed the Brothers as “secular” and “moderate,” although the organization, from its founding in the 1920s, has never retreated an inch from its professed mission to establish Islam’s global hegemony.

The administration further hailed the Brotherhood’s triumph in post-Mubarak legislative elections and made a point of abandoning the policy against formal MB contacts — though, in now-familiar Obama fashion, it simultaneously claimed that this “outreach” broke no new ground. And this week, the White House hosted a Brotherhood delegation to “broaden our engagement” with Egypt’s new political actors, as an administration spokesman put it. In this, Obama officials were quick to exploit the cover they’ve gotten from the transnational-progressive wing of the Republican party: The administration spokesman stressed that “Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham and others have met with members of the MB during their visits to Egypt.”

The useful-idiot brigade also includes the “House Democracy Partnership,” a bipartisan cadre of congressmen that traipsed over to Egypt on its recent tour of the “Arab Spring” countries. On the agenda was a confab with Khairat el-Shater, the Brotherhood’s newly announced presidential candidate.

Shater is Washington’s new darling. That much is clear from an unintentionally hilarious dispatch from the New York Times’ David Kirkpatrick, who portrays the Brotherhood as America’s “indispensable ally against Egypt’s ultraconservatives.” Sure, they may be the world’s leading exemplar of what Kirkpatrick gently calls “political Islam,” but our policy geniuses reckon the Brothers are much to be preferred over the “Salafis” — reputedly, the more hardcore Islamic supremacists. As the Times elaborates, the Obama administration is alarmed by the rise of a charismatic Salafist, Hazem Salah Abu Ismail, who has shot to second place in the polls. Shater, the theory goes, could overtake Ismail and lead Egypt in the Brotherhood’s more “pragmatic direction.”

IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz on Thursday declared a change in army police whereby any firing at Israel's south will be met with an attack on Hamas, regardless of the group behind the fire. Similarly, any firing from Lebanon will result in an attack on Hezbollah, and any terror attack by Iran's emissaries overseas will prompt a response against Tehran.

Speaking at a conference in the Gelilot base, Gantz discussed the many threats Israel faces. "The IDF is Israel's sharpened sword and protector," he noted. He also addressed the firing of rockets at Eilat on Wednesday night.

US [Obama] To Accept Civilian Nuke Program In Iran

WASHINGTON - US [Alleged] President Barack Obama has signaled Tehran that the Washington would accept an civilian nuclear program in Iran if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei can back up his recent claim that his nation “will never pursue nuclear weapons,” the Washington Post reported Friday.

According to the report, the verbal message was sent through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who met with Khamenei last week. A few days prior to leaving for the trip, Erdogan held a two-hour meeting with Obama on the sidelines of the nuclear security summit in Seoul, in which they discussed what the Turkish leader would tell Khamenei about the nuclear issue.

Via Bryan Preston, your must-see clip of the day. But before you watch, re-read Ed’s posts from October 26 and October 29 of 2008. This isn’t the first time AVS protections have mysteriously disappeared from Team Hopenchange’s donations page, and it’s not just the missing security-code field that got them in trouble in 2008. Remember how they made a point of accepting money from untraceable prepaid credit cards then too? WaPo raised an eyebrow at the time:

Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor’s identity, campaign officials confirmed.

Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides acknowledged. Instead, the campaign is scrutinizing its books for improper donations after the money has been deposited…

When asked whether the campaign takes steps to verify whether a donor’s name matches the name on the credit card used to make a payment, Obama’s campaign replied in an e-mail: “Name-matching is not a standard check conducted or made available in the credit card processing industry. We believe Visa and MasterCard do not even have the ability to do this…

Juan Proaño, whose technology firm handled online contributions for John Edwards’s presidential primary campaign, and for John F. Kerry’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2004, said it is possible to require donors’ names and addresses to match those on their credit card accounts. But, he said, some campaigns are reluctant to impose that extra layer of security.

Republican Patrick Ruffini tested Obama’s AVS procedures at the time, attempting to donate five dollars by providing an address different from the one linked to the credit card he used. Result: Transaction accepted. Said Ruffini, who worked on online organizing for Bush’s campaign, “The ability to contribute with a false address, when the technology to prevent it not only exists but comes standard, is a green light for fraud.” Note the part too about AVS protections being “standard.” Mark Steyn checked the prefab template for his own little web store at the time and found that the defaults were all set for maximum verification. To make the system as lax as it was — and apparently still is — at BarackObama.com, you had to deliberately weaken its security checks. Which, per the staff’s own admission to WaPo, they did.

I recommend re-reading that old WaPo piece in its entirety as it cites the case of a retired insurance manager whose name had been stolen to donate $174,800 to Obama. In reality, the manager had never donated a cent. Team O claims that they catch all this stuff on the back end when they review the names and donations to look for suspicious activity, which is easy to do when the phony contribution came from “Bart Simpson” but not so easy to do when it came from “Paul Smith” or some other generic yet plausible (and possibly stolen) name. In fact, the end result of all this nonsense was an FEC discretionary review (i.e. audit) of the campaign. You would think, after that, that they’d do everything by the book this time. But when your fundraising’s going worse than expected, maybe your priorities change — assuming anti-fraud priorities were ever there to begin with.

Exit question: Should we be worried that these same guys are pioneering new ways to donate electronically?
