This Proclamation gets to the heart of what needs to be done to finally end abortion. Well done!
This is a testimony before man that objective truth exists and will not be comromised in our governing system by human weakness.
This is a testimony before Almighty God that His endowed rights, recognized by our forefathers and documented by our nation's founding will be unwaveringly proclaimed, upheld and fought for. For the undersigned, this is the individual courage of heart and commitment to righteousness that God was seeking in as little as 10 people in Sodom and Gomorrah that would have stayed His hand of divine justice against their sins. Let's stop the outrage of abortion once and for all!
God bless the souls who have helped and supported this action. God bless those who have never seen the light of day. God bless America.
Hi Tom -
It is an honor and a pleasure to publicly affirm that I enthusiastically agree with, and will endeavor to personally adhere to, the Proclamation and Pledge. Steve Schulin Rockville, Maryland
The MOST important responsbibility our elected representatives in every branch of governmnet has is to protect and defend the unalienable right to life. It is long past due for every chief law enforcement officer from the president to every governor of every state in our country to enforce the Supreme Law of the Land, the Constitution which guarantees the unalienable right to life. We who call ourselves "pro-life" must hold them accountable if they fail to protect and defend the inalienable right to life. The Silent Genocide must end today! We must demand that every elected chief executive officer, from President Bush to every state governor, ENFORCE THE UNALIENABLE RIGHT TO LIFE by closing down every abortion mill immediately and call for their removal from office if they fail to do so. Every branch of the government possesses a responsibility to uphold the constitution which guarantees the unalienable right to life, but enforcement of the law is the sole duty of the executive branch. It's time for executives to start executing the law which guarantees the unalienable right to life. What say you President Bush and all you "pro-life" governors? Will you uphold your oaths to protect and defend the unalienable right to life?
I am proud to add my name to this Personhood Proclamation Tom! Job well done!
God says "Choose life." We will.

May God aid this just cause. "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:16).
I pray that God will move the heart of every citizen of goodwill to join in this truly patriotic commitment. If the foundations be *restored*... ?
May life continue to be recognized as a sacred and precious gift.

I just forwarded the document to several pro choice "CATHOLICS". It is an absolute disgrace to utter the words pro choice Catholic.
Peace cannot be attained in our families, our nation or our world, until we first have peace in the womb.
It's time to stop tolerating the intolerable. We must stop making inexcusable excuses - and we must stop killing children. I sign this proclamation proudly.
Pray as if it all depends upon God.
Work as if it all depends upon you. Lord, Have mercy on us and grant us Your salvation.
I pray that God will help this nation realize the bizarre idea that murder should be illegal.
Without the "right to life", the rights to "liberty and the pursuit of happiness" mean nothing.

Samuel Adams:
"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." "If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds."
It would be wonderful to hear people properly refer to an unborn human as he or she instead of it.

I am 100# behind this effort. Let us all pray that TRUTH will prevail.
Life begins at conception. If there is no interference, with an intent to do harm by another human being in the natural process of pregnancy, there is a high probability of birth.
Any act with the explicit or implicit intent to end a life at any point is murder, if the attempt fails it is attempted murder; at the very least in the absence of an explicit/implicit and provable intent, it is manslaughter.
"America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters"
And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign." (Mother Theresa -- "Notable and Quotable," Wall Street Journal, 2/25/94, p. A14)
THANK YOU FROM GOD's INNOCENTS. I SPEAK FOR THE HUNDREDS I SEE ON THE WAY TO THEIR APPOINTMENTS WITH DEATH.
We pray for a return to an entire culture of life. May we back this up with our own lives and our prayers.
May God's hand of blessing rest upon this and upon all those who sign/ support it. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:13-15 God bless you, Tom, your efforts, "Life and Liberty Report" and your family.

Without this most basic protection of a human's God-given right to life, all other perceived rights under the United States Constitution are moot. Unalienable, by definition, means this right to life cannot be transferred or relinquished. The primary definition of person is a human being. With the mapping of the human genome, science has refined the definition of a human being. When the components of humanness are present, therefore, how can personhood not be considered concurrent? One's moral obligation to protect persons according to the revelations of science must be reconciled in practice. The time to act in such a manner is past due. Personhood must be clearly upheld. For society to continue uneffected by empirical discovery is sheer madness. It is a descent into absurdity.
If the dignity of human life is to be respected always, personhood must be openly declared as inviolable from the instant of fertilization until natural death. The taking of innocent human life can never be persmissible. Inconsistencies under the law must be rectified by simple adherence to oaths already taken to uphold this Constitutional protection.
America, Defend Life! Woe to you if you do not succeed in defending life! The eruption of horrific sin in our country is the "fruit" of a century of men and women of good will being tricked and seduced by lies and distortions perpetrated by Satan and his followers and heaved at all through those who have rejected God. This treachery has been fed to us largely through the mainstream media by programming funded by those who put monetary profit and earthly success and power ahead of principle and human life. It is time to take a stand against the war against human life.
The exception clauses above permit the destruction of human life for just causes. May this always be done only in extreme cases where we have no other option to protect innocent life, and when it must be done, let it be done decisively and without delay. In the case of capital punishment, let there be no reasonable doubt as to the party's guilt and no lingering year after year on death row which has been found to be a "cruel and unusual" punishment. God's grace be with us all as we fight for our country and for our children's future.
Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die. Proverbs 31:8
I am happy to sign with these modifications: Every occurrence of the terms "pre-born" and "unborn" to be replaced with the term "baby in the womb."
The term "destroys" to be replaced with the term "harms" in the following section: “The undersigned hereby pledge continuous active opposition to the enablers and practitioners of abortion and euthanasia, and to those who enable or effectuate human embryonic scientific research that destroys human life at any point after its biological inception.
I don't understand the legal side of things, but I would believe that changing the "pre-born" and "unborn" will alter the meaning. With your change, one would then have to define "baby in the womb" and the argument will become, once again, when is it a baby and when is it not. There is also a large difference between harms and destroys. In truth, it DOES destroy human life. Why would we want to sugarcoat the truth about this? It is far worse than "harm". Again, this is just my opinion, and I am no lawyer.
Chelle, We really must stop playing 'their game.'And we must stop acting like lawyers are gods. Words have meanings. Sometimes precise. Sometimes not so. Sometimes multiple. The only meaning that really counts though is the meaning that is brought to mind in the head of the listener or reader. One of the definitions of "born" is beginning. It stands to reason that "unborn" hasn't begun yet -- EXACTLY the idea baby killers want delivered: born = life, unborn = not alive. And we in the pro-life community have been falling for this too long. We let them define the terms -- LITERALLY! We need to turn the tables. We should want the listeners' and readers' mind to ALWAYS picture a baby. And we'd have truth on our side too.
Define "baby in the womb"? You're kidding, right? As for "destroys" vs "harms"? No sugar coating! It pains me to even put words to this but can't you even imagine a day [if not already upon us] when these smallest of babies are not just destroyed but also kept alive as modern day Frankensteins perform ghoulish experiments?
Ray, it isn't a matter of "playing the game"...if this gets to the Supreme Court, whom do you suppose will be determining the meanings of the language? It certainly won't be the guy on the street corner, or an employee at PP. The point personhood makes it that it is a person long before birth, getting at the conception point.
As far as the "harm" language, I understand that concern. The problem is there is a difference between harming and destroying or killing. So, harming will be wrong because the fetus is still alive, but destroying it may not be...a loop-hole. Perhaps the way to fix your concern would be to add the word harm? IN any case, I would have to hand-off to a person with more authority and knowledge on the language and crafting of legislation. I am only giving you my perspective and humble opinions. I appreciate you sharing yours!! Join me in praying for: the end of legalized abortion, the unity of the pro-life movement, the growth and support of crisis pregnancy centers and maternity homes in preparation for the day PP is closed down.
Ray, your suggested changes have are worthy of deep consideration. Perhaps adding the words "harms or" before the word "destroys" would be appropriate to address your very pertinent concern about "scientific" meddling with human persons who are at the embryo stage of their development.
The other matter I will have to give some more thought to. Please remind me of this until it is dealt with. You have my email address. My thanks to you and to Chelle.
Chelle, Tom & Hobie,
I'm all for adding "harm" to "destroy". As for "this getting to the Supreme Court" maybe I'm under the wrong impression here. I understood this to be a proclamation, a pledge, a declaration, not a piece of Legislation. My comments were made with the understanding that this is a communicative piece. I firmly believe that our best hope lies there, in changing hearts, BY educating minds... NOT with five unelected old fuddy-duddies. This is the same method prescribed by Paul in Acts 28:27 "...they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and understand with [their] heart..." This is also why I firmly believe in displaying those gruesome, tragic abortion pictures that very few 'pro-lifers' agree with. Educating the public through communication is our best hope and words are key. Our words should be aimed at our targets' ears, not those five in black robes. I do like the term "life-ending medical procedure" but only to be used alternately with "abortion" but not instead of. The term "abortion" is too well known and understood for us to throw it out, effectively 'shooting ourselves in the foot... AGAIN! The acronym LEMP should not be used for the opposite reason - no one knows it. I will continue to remind you Tom, and I ask everyone also, to please join me and do this one small thing -- something we can all start doing now for God's children. Refuse to use the 'dehumanizing language' they prefer: fetus, embryo, tissue, zygote along with pre-born and unborn. Let OUR words match our belief. Call them BABIES! We could call them children of course, but why? They ARE babies and we are entitled, no obligated, to use every heart-string pulling measure in their defense. Certainly our words should be our first measure.
I should have put the opening of my remarks in quotes, "America, defend life. Woe to you if you do not succeed in defending life!" From a statement of Fr. Weslin, I learned they are the words of John Paul II, 1993, in Denver (at World Youth Day I believe). Ray, I like your thinking on using our words, not theirs. Louisiana's new resolution on "Fetal Torture and Dismemberment" will catch some attention but "Baby & Child Torture and Dismemberment" would perhaps change more hearts; though less "politically" effective.
Randal, I don't understand why saying "Child Torture" instead of "Fetal Torture" would be less 'politically' effective. Politicians have hearts too. And even when they act like they don't, they remember those who put them there do.
The thing to consider, if you change the verbage is how will the language be interpreted and by whom. What, who and how will the definition of "baby" be decided? Just my thoughts.
Chelle, I responded previously to your changing verbage concerns with: "I understood this to be a proclamation, a pledge, a declaration, not a piece of Legislation." and "this is a communicative piece." The answer to your question[s] is you, me, and anyone who reads it, not a court of law or a scientific board, but simple human beings who need to have their stony hearts made tender again with the truth about baby killing. The ONE thing every one of us can do is to use our words, not their words, and do it consistently. We should never use the term "unborn" again, but rather "baby" and if we must clarify for some reason we should say; "baby in the womb who hasn't been born yet." Certainly our tongues won't fall out and don't we owe at least that much effort?
Ray, my thinking was that in the current political landscape, unfortunately, baby/child does not equal baby in the womb. (FYI...My wife has just told me that fetus means "young one" or offspring and used only for mammals.)
I will do God's will and do my part in protecting lives of the unborn and life in general.
This proclamation and plege is so needed in our day now. With much joy and great pleasure do I sign this.
I too will do my part to helping the unborn, and all life as God implores us to with our very soul as He gives opportunity to each individual to know His will for their life and to know Him for eternity together.
If there ever was a fight worth fighting, this is it. Every American with half a heart should sign this.

Guy and all,
Again let me exhort you; I ask everyone to please join me and do this one small thing -- something we can all start doing now for God's children. Refuse to use the 'dehumanizing language' they prefer: fetus, embryo, tissue, zygote, pre-born and unborn. Even 'PRE' and 'UN' though technically correct [as some of the other terms are] communicates to many people the concept of 'NOT YET' or simply 'NOT' human or alive. My study of language convinces me that grammar and even spelling take a distant second place to communication. Our enemies understand this well. Let OUR words match our belief. These are BABIES! We are obligated to use every heart-string pulling measure in their defense. Certainly our words should be our first measure. These are not the 'aborted unborn.' These are babies torn limb from limb -- slaughtered babies, butchered babies! The ONE thing every one of us CAN DO RIGHT NOW is to use our words, not their words, and do it consistently. We should never use the term "unborn" again, but rather "baby" and if we must clarify for some reason we should say; "baby in the womb" or "baby who hasn't been born yet." Certainly our tongues won't fall out of our mouth. Let the fruit of our lips defend these precious babies to the fullest. Don't we owe them AND GOD at least that much effort?
Ray,- "Agreed" ,.. provided you read

That's for them to think it through, not us. That is unless one prefers to remain Silent. "God's speed to lift all persons to their highest reward of human dignity." Is that better?
"Abortion is an abomination to the L-rd" anyone that has one or preforms one is an abomination to him as well. We either as a nation stop the murdering or at some point in time G-d will send us his wrath this nation for our unwillingness to repeat of the sin of killing our children. G-d is a just G-d!
